Staff - Rod O'Connor

Rod O'Connor is a Fishery Biologist with 11 years of experience, nine years in the Columbia River basin. 

In addition to conducting acoustic telemetry studies at hydropower projects in the mid- Columbia River, he has conducted fish and habitat surveys in rivers from the Pacific Northwest to the state of Wyoming. 

Mr. O'Connor is skilled in population abundance estimates, with specific expertise of redband trout in the Spokane River and sampled burbot and sturgeon populations in Lake Roosevelt (the upper Columbia River).  He completed a MS in Stream Fish Ecology at the University of Wyoming in 2005 and a BS in Fisheries Science at the University of Washington in 2000.
